Our Pastor and Wife, Dr. & Mrs. Michael Honzell.  The Honzells moved to our area on March 8th from Levelland, Texas where he was pastor of College Avenue Baptist Church since 2006.

Bro. Mike has been in the ministry since 1977 serving in churches in Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma.  He indicates that his "Ministry Objectives" as Pastor are: to lead the church in the area of evangelism; to make disciples of those who receive Jesus as Savior; and to strengthen the family. 

Their family includes a son, Jeremy, who is in the U. S. Marine Corp stationed in Japan and a daughter, Jennifer, who is a nurse at Natchitoches Parish Hospital.  Jennifer and her husband, David Thornton, are the parents of the Honzell's first grandchild, a girl, Tenley, shown above.
